Ecology

This specialization covers how organisms relate to each other and their surroundings: population growth, regulation and life history, competition, predation and mutualism, community structure and succession, ecosystem energy flow and nutrient cycling, biodiversity and biogeography, and applied conservation and restoration ecology. Field sampling design and quantitative analysis are central, since almost every conclusion here is statistical.
