Pediatric Physiotherapy

This specialization covers the physical development of children and its disorders: developmental assessment against milestones, and management of cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, torticollis, talipes and postural deformity, along with respiratory physiotherapy for children and care of the preterm infant. Treatment is delivered through play and through parents, since a child's home programme carries most of the therapeutic load.
