Product Design

This specialization covers designing a product around the problem it solves: user research and need finding, insight and opportunity framing, concept generation and the design thinking cycle, rapid prototyping and iterative user testing, resolving form with function, materials and production, usability and accessibility, and sustainability and lifecycle thinking. In current practice it spans physical and digital products, which is what most distinguishes it from Industrial Design.
