Game Development

This specialization covers building interactive real-time software: the game loop, real-time rendering, physics and collision detection, animation, audio, and gameplay and AI programming. Work is usually in C++ or C# inside an engine such as Unreal or Unity, with a consistent emphasis on performance because everything has to finish inside a frame. Game Design under Design is the neighbouring discipline concerned with rules and player experience rather than implementation.
