Psychiatry

This specialization covers mental illness and its treatment: mood disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, schizophrenia and other psychoses, substance use disorders, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and the psychiatric aspects of physical illness. Training covers psychopharmacology, psychotherapeutic methods, and the legal framework around capacity and involuntary treatment. The qualification is an MD in Psychiatry through NEET-PG.
