This specialization covers the planned development of towns and cities: land use survey and analysis, master and development plan preparation, zoning and development control regulations, density and floor area regulation, transport and infrastructure planning, housing and slum upgrading, urban design at the neighbourhood scale, and regional and metropolitan planning. Expect GIS and spatial analysis, participatory planning method, and the Indian statutory framework of development authorities and municipal bodies.
